Making Communication Fun With Group Chat Software

Communication is the backbone of every project. Everybody knows that. The good news is that today it has become much easier to communicate than it ever was. Thanks to the advancement in the office chat software, not only it is lot easier now to get in touch with people within instants, it has also become lot more fun.

Here’s how a chatting software in an office setting can make communication fun and easy -

Chat with multiple people simultaneously
This is where group chat software come handy. Think about it - you send a message to a bunch of different people and all of them can receive it at the same time. Not only that, they respond back to you in real time as well. While this arrangement sounds pretty normal today, the same was not available decades ago. And so, if technology has made talking to people this easy, it’s only fitting that we use it to the best of our advantage.

Conversations made fun
How fun is to it send a bland, emotionless, boring email to people? The practice is not only tedious, but there’s no element of enjoyment in it. A chatting tool that offers tons of emojis, however, is a great way to add color and life to your texts. Feeling a little perky? Send a grinning emoji. Feeling tired, send a tired emoji. The choices are literally countless. With every text message that you send, you can add fun emoticons to make your message interesting so they don’t look like just a bland, colorless combination of words.

Track communication history
Talking face to face with people, or talking over the phone is absolutely fine. But, what if you wanted to track the conversation to find out a certain piece of information that you discussed? You can’t, right? You cannot turn the clock backwards and go back into the past. But, if the conversation happened on the office chat software, you can always trace the conversation and find out what was discussed; provided you didn’t delete the chat history.

Discuss things quickly with bunch of different people
Want to discuss upcoming birthday plans with people? In a chatting tool it’s simple. Just create a group, add all the relevant people with whom you want to discuss the plans, and you’re good to go. It’s really that simple. As long as everybody is online, nobody will be left out of the conversation. Even if someone is not available online at the moment, that person can always come back and browse the conversation history to know what was discussed.

People can brainstorm ideas right from their cubicles with as many team members as they want. Good thing is anybody can create groups and invite people. You don’t need any special privileges to add people, as long as they are added in your contact list.

Which communication/chatting tool do you use in your office? How often do you use it and for what purposes? Let us know. We would love to hear from you.
